This week I had a great learning session with Paul who records the fermentation podcast! I am a total fermentation newbie, and wimp, but Paul has given me some confidence to try my own ferments! Paul has been into fermenting for a few years now, and in my eyes, is an expert on the subject. He has fermented just about everything. In this episode he shares how he got into fermenting, and some great recipes!
– Or check out the player at the bottom of this post.
In this episode we discuss:
- Do you really need salt to ferment?
- The true risk level of fermentation
- Best fermented foods for beginners
- Watermelon soda
- What is a ginger bug
- How to get free fermenting jars
Hope you enjoyed the show! (If you did could you leave me a review in iTunes?)
