Today is a copy cat recipe of the most amazing vanilla mascarpone butter spread I had in San Diego this past summer. This spread is so amazing, you will want to keep it on hand at all times!
This spread is going to blow you away. It’s so simple but so perfect. If you have never had mascarpone cheese before, its a Italian cream cheese, and some people compare it to butter. It’s slightly thicker and tangy, but super creamy and delicious.
This spread takes a little mascarpone cheese, a little butter, and adds real vanilla and orange. Your mouth is going to explode into a huge grin. It’s really just delicious and I find myself putting the spread on way to many things!!
Vanilla Mascarpone Spread
This spread is the bomb. I really don't know how else to describe it! Its a creamy buttery spread, a mix of mascarpone cheese, butter vanilla and a hint of orange. I originally had this with cornbread which blew my mind!
Ingredients
- 4 Tbs butter
- 2 Tbs mascarpone
- 1/4 inch seeds scraped from a vanilla bean
- 2 drops orange essential oil
- 1 tsp honey, or 2 drops stevia, optional
Instructions
- In a small jar, mix all of the ingredients.
- Spread on everything!!
Notes
I make this right in a small jar or tupperware for easy storing. Please use glass as citrus oils are not safe to use with plastic.
It is easier to mix the spread if the ingredients are are room temerature
